I'm posting here with my computer. To post screenshots means I would have to somehow transfer the screenshot to my computer.
But you just helped when you said > There are two ways to display drafts in Geooh... Geocaches and Profile.
I was only looking at the #Drafts list, which was empty.
So I poked around in the profile, and found lots of stuff, but I could not find where to view drafts.
But then when I went back to the geocaches section, there was now a number next to #Drafts!! I clicked on that list, and it actually downloaded the drafts and is now showing them.
So by viewing my profile, it somehow triggered Geooh to actually look to see if I have any drafts.
Yes. On that trip, I expected to be in an area with limited signal. So I downloaded everything to a list using full mode and included images. It worked well except for when the signal was marginal, and I had to wait for it to timeout before it would show the local data.
This was in the city. Network connection was excellent the entire time. I had drafts online before I started. I submitted more drafts during my outing. They were sent online, not queued.
As I said, at first none showed. Then for a time during the day they did show. Then later at home they were gone again. No change to anything on the server. They are still online, but not showing in the app.
A screenshot would only show a blank screen that says (empty list). But if I go online with my browser, there are about a dozen drafts from a couple of days in there.
I was out doing a bunch of caching yesterday, and after creating a few drafts, I tried looking at the #Drafts list and it was empty. I also noticed there was no indication on the live map that a given cache had a draft associated with it. Then today I was out again, and noticed a cache I had just created a draft for, did in fact have a ! icon, and the drafts list was filled. Now I'm home to ask about it, and the list is empty again, yet my drafts on geocaching.com are still there. How can I get the list to work again?
Hi, new user to Geooh Go here. Good app in a lot of ways, but I too am having issues when in marginal cell signal situations. I've read through this thread, and have tried many of the things suggested. The only thing that worked for me so far was Airplane Mode. But as picht said, that's not a great solution as it blocks other apps that can deal with marginal signal better.
Two questions. Where can I turn off the API?
And can the network timeout be adjusted? It seems like it's about 30 seconds now. Can that be reduced to 5 or 10 seconds?
