Geocaches Show on a map on my phone but all I can get on my Android Auto car screen are the 3 small green buttons
When I press on nearby I get a message on the bottom of the screen that reads "not available when driving".
I am not driving, I am parked, in park, the handbrake is on, the engine is not running and I have accessories switched on.
Help me please. Where am I gong wrong?
Hmmm, that message is not from Geooh.
Do you have Nearby Geocaches turned on in settings? You also need to check Enable Geooh Auto in the Misc section of settings.
The car app only shows nearby geocaches. Do you have notifications on your phone indicating there are nearby ones?
A wider screenshot or video would allow me to see more of the car screen and context for what is happening.
Yes, I do have Nearby Geocaches turned on in settings and I am parked only 30m from one I haven't found. The Geooh Auto is enabled

What about the question does your phone show any nearby caches in the Android notification bar? They will be the same as what shows in AA. And to be clear, I'm not talking about the #Nearby offline list... that's different than nearby notifications.
Screenshots of your Android notifications of nearby caches along with selecting the Nearby button on the AA screen and what it shows would help. The previous picture was not a Geooh message.

Please reread what I said earlier. I'm not talking about the #Nearby list. Nearby Geocaches notifications are completely DIFFERENT than the list. The nearby notifications have a shorter search radius and can only display up to 6 nearby geocaches. Those will show in the Android notification bar, not in a list. The purpose is to be notified of nearby geocaches as you drive around. Those same nearby caches (up to 6) are also displayed in AA so you don't have to look at your phone and pull down the notification bar.
Can you give me a screenshot of Geooh settings for Nearby Geocaches? The screenshot of your phone shows no nearby notifications... in the top Android notification bar... not the #Nearby list. So if not on the phone, also nothing in AA. The search radius in the settings must be at least .89km for even one to show for you in notifications and in AA.

If so, do you require any more?
Do you see the setting for number of favorite points? That means you've set the app to show nearby caches that have a minimum of 50 favorite points! I doubt there are any! Move the setting back down to zero and the distance as low as the slider can go... and then tell me if nearby notifications show on the phone and also on AA.

To navigate to a cache, tap the selected cache and the app will show you more details about it. On that details screen, there is a Navigate button. Tap that button to open your AA navigation app like Waze to take you to it. It's simple.

The notification of a nearby cache appeared on my AA screen (attachment 1)
I selected the notification then selected Navigation on my AA screen (attachment 2)
The navigation screen appeared without any directions (attachment 3) and remained static as I drove in any direction.
Is there another thing I've selected incorrect in settings?
Try using Google Maps instead of Waze. I'll have to verify Waze (and others) will work properly on AA.

Hope you can get it to work in waze, it's my preferred method of navigation due to it's extra features.
It's a problem outside of Geooh. The app is issuing the command Google wants car apps to do to initiate navigation on the car. Apparently, only Google Maps is properly working. Other developers have noticed the same issue... HERE maps also doesn't work. I could not find anything related to Waze to resolve the issue. Until Google or Waze fixes things, you'll have to use Google Maps navigation.
