Now another newbe question. I have a offline list of all my found caches. Is it possible to sort them by the date I found them?

There is no sort by date for offline lists. But are you aware that in the Profile component there is a list of ALL you logs sorted by date? You can search or even filter those. There is no need to create an offline list of your finds.
