It recently came to my attention that Mapsforge can do hillshading. This would be a nice addition to offline maps.
I was planning to add an example picture here, but Locus maps seems to lock this feature behind a paywall.
Hillshading is on for Mapsforge. Can you provide a map and theme that supports hill shading and I'll test... also a screenshot from another app that shows what it is suppose to look like?
I think I may have misunderstood something. It could be that hillshading is only supported for non-vector maps.
