Support / Re: Published vs Hidden date
Groundspeak is not consistent with placed/hidden.
In the app and on a list they use placed, but on the cache pages it says "hidden"  :-\

Personally I don't use the "Show Details", as (almost) all the information is in the "Show More" page.
And I have only seen very few cases where the published date was necessary.

But if others want it, and it has been there before, then I can't argue with that.  :)

Maybe a survey would show if anyone want/needs the published date...

In a recent version the Published date was added to the "Show More" page
Would it be possible to change it to the "Hidden date" in stead?
It's the hidden date that is used in most cases in Challenges, Jasmer etc.

I haven't used it very much because of the problem. But a quick test gives the same result, that it does not work. Maybe 2 out of 10 times.

I'm nit sure the problem was on Groundspeak's side.
When it happened the only way to fix the problem was to force close/stop the app and start again

Hi

The new Note field looks cool.
But unfortunately there is no indication if the data has actually been saved to geocachin.com

I have now multiple times lost all information that I have typed in because it wasn't saved and I had no indication of the problem.

This happens quite randomly but probably more often in places with bad data reception/coverage.

Is there a way to add a notification or something so the data I have entered isn't deleted?

Support / Links in bottom of description unavailable
When looking at the description af a cache, the navigation buttons of Android on the bottom of the screen are on top of the text, making links unavailable and text difficult to read. See screenshot

Support / Unfortunate color
After an update the coordinate shown is in black, making it more difficult to read in bad lighting and in general. See screenshot
it would be great if it could go back to white  :)

Could it be possible to have it back?
Right now the last found information takes up 2 lines, but it could be put on the same line eg like this: Last found 22-10-2024 (89 days ago)

Even the official app has this information present  :)
