There was an update today. Right? I wonder why I was logged out and thought okay, new release. But I was not able to login again. The flickering page for login to geocaching.com prevented me from inserting any password. After restart the app and the mobile still no success. I let the geooh go open with the login screen and after about 10 minutes waiting I was finally able to enter my credentials. Can you explain what happens here?

I am reluctant to do that. By default, the log date is the current day. Unless someone is fully aware of the "lock feature", they could easily use a previous log date without realizing it thinking they are logging for today. The frequency of needing to log a date other than today is low compared to the probability of incorrectly using a previous date. And adding another setting is not ideal given the current number of settings.

I am looking forward to replicate a feature that is available on official geocaching website. Every time I log geocaches on previous day, I want the system can "lock" the day on screen I have chosen. So that the second cache I log would not require me to re-choose the day again. In pair of the lock feature there should have a "unlock" mechanism, perhaps it can be manually controlled, timely based, or it would be unlocked on next application session.

Thank you so much for your help. We'll try again but give ourselves enough time to finish so we don't need to reload the cartridge

I'm not sure what the issue is other than during the save something got corrupted or the cartridge has something unsaveable. Geooh uses an open source software (that other Android wherigo players also use) which performs the saves. If the other cartridges save/restore properly, then I suspect more of a special case problem than generally for all wherigos.
We could use some help please? Hubby and I went out this morning to complete a Wherigo, one that could be completed anywhere, as a precursor to a full series. We've worked with Wherigo before, both in the original app and, more recently, in Geooh GO so we knew what we were doing. At each stage I saw a message flash up that it was being autosaved, however, we ran out of time to finish it before we had to be somewhere else. I have now tried to reload it but get the error message "There was a problem loading the cartridge. If resuming a saved game, be sure it was previously saved with WheriGO" The cartridge then loads but has reset to no progress.
Could anyone help us figure out what the issue is please? I loaded a previously completed cartridge to check if it was a global issue, but that loaded fine and all the data was there. I am using a Samsung S22+ with Android 16 installed.

Yes, turn on nearby geocaches in settings and they will show on a list/map screen after selecting nearby on the main Android Auto screen.

I am a new user and I want to view nearby geocaches in Android Auto as I drive. I installed Geooh GO solely for this feature. However I can't get it to display the cache icons on the map, just a list at the top of the screen. Is there a setting I need to adjust to display the map icons? I apologize if this has been asked a hundred times before. I haven't been able to find an answer. Thanks for your help!

I'm still trying to find a way to use OS 1:50000 and 1:25000 tiles in your app, You have the options to use the OS Road, Outdoor and Light categories, but not their Leisure category. Would it be possible to add that to your app? I suspect the problem may be that it uses the EPSG:27700 British National Grid coord system whereas the others use EPSG:3857 which is global Mercator
I've been experimenting with my own URL server that will give the OS 1:50000 and 1:25000 tiles based on zyx values, but I suspect there'll be an accuracy problem.

not that. I suspect it's an incompatibility between the url and my key as although I can use a hard-coded version of that link and my key on my browser, it doesn't work in that form on the Geocaching Map Enhancements add-on either.
I'll search to see if I can find any specific working examples
